Excellent clippers., 11 July 2011

After rubbish clippers for years, (name usually rhyming with bemmington...) these clippers are a breath of fresh...hair! Get it? Hair?... anyway, yes they do cost a little more but they are so robust and have a nice weight to them giving you confidence that they are of sound quality. Me and my boys all use these clippers and we each have a colour that we know is ours, as each colour represents a different length.

All in all these are excellent clippers, sturdy and feel like the will last ages.

There is a downside and that is the vibrations. Used for any length of time you will get that numbness in your hand/fingers due to the vibrations. However I only get this if I am cutting all three of our heads one after another, so say about 15-20 minutes continuous usage. I still would recommend this product though. 5/5 from me.

Oh, and sorry about the bad joke...I just can hair-lp myself!

Wahl's reputation for good quality hair clippers is maintained with this one. Some might think that the colour coded combs is a gimmick but, having once done my husband with 1/8" instead of 1/4", I fully appreciate it!

I've been cutting my own and my kids hair for over 16 years and until 3 years ago I've always used Wahl clippers. My last Wahl set got broken during a house move and I had to buy some replacements so I bought an expensive set of Remmington ceramic rechargeable clippers (which I've always had to use plugged into the mains charger as the battery can't power the blades on it's own, also they have never really been able to cut my eldest son's thick hair without a lot of snagging and swearing). I have now got round to replacing these truly awful and next to useless ceramic clippers with the best Wahl clippers I've ever owned.
Great feel, weight and perfectly balanced. Yes they vibrate quite a bit but all Wahl clippers do due to the design of the shunt motor. The colour coded combs are a good idea and should make it easier to remember who has what length on which bit as they don't like to have the same style. Very powerful and quiet compared to some clippers I've heard. They'll cut the finest or thickest hair without any problems and they should last a lifetime (unless a removal man drops them down a flight of stairs and smashes the blades).
If you want a fantastic pair of clippers at a great price that will last for ages, then you can't go wrong with these.

These are really good, and last very well. Being tapered, they fit into gaps of all shapes and sizes, which is good if you have irregular teeth. Very effective.

These are excellent refills for the Oral-B Interspace Brush.They are very hard (almost impossible) to find in the shops but came very quickly and effortlessly from Amazon. The widely distributed cylindrical refills are next to useless. Tapered ones like these ones work so much better yet are so difficult to find. Thank you Amazon.

Over the years Ive paid over £100.00 for razors and spares , however , having read rhe reviews on the product , both of whome gave 5 stars , I decided to try the Panasonic , which at this price appeared to offer great value , and they were correct , I am delighted with the product , although Ive yet to try a wet shave , and without a doubt it s the closest and quickest shave Ive can ever remember from a new razor , would definitely recommend , great value, great product

As the title says this gives me the best shave I have ever had from an electric shaver, I've used Remington, Phillips, and many more over 53 years. I always use it with some sort of lubricant either with shaving cream or moisterising cream, apply cream then wet the blade for the best shave.

succesful end to a long search, 7 July 2011

i am a veteran in the shaving stakes having progressed through the wet shave battlefield of cuts covered with paper to red raw rashes. having reached the grand age of 65 and a big convert of electric shaving in general,over the years i have used remmington,and mainly braun. the last braun went on for over 7 years with only one foil/cutter change, not bad thought i although never entirely happy with the performance especially that troublesome area under the chin/neck that seems to have a stubborn life all of its own.

when the braun finally died on me i began to research the market the braun was still there as a major player i would never buy a phillashave they just do not cut it (excuse the pun). whilst trawling and i am a serious trawler! and have been known to take weeks comparing specifications and prices of anything i buy in the past. then i stumbled upon panasonic i wasn't even aware that they where in the shaver market, i mean we all know they make decent tv's and cameras etc but shavers? . i started to read generally excellent reviews of their razor range, one review pointed out that he had a panasonic before which had a linear motor which means the power does not drop off even at the end of its charge period. he had bought another panasonic but as he says did not read the small print and regrets it, i am grateful for that advice and was guided by it. although the ES7101S512 did not have a review i studied the specification and one feature was a linear motor. not the only deciding factor but none the less important.
i took the plunge and bought the ES7101S512 at an excellent amazon price and i must say that this is the best shave i have ever had, the motor is fast but still quiet and guess what? it even removes those elusive neck/under chin hairs effortlessly. i havent tried it as a wet shave yet but this razor is almost on a par using it dry, and unless you are really fussy it is hard to beat this great little machine at a great price. i would recommend this shaver to anybody, regards jonboy.

these clippers are the best i have ever owned and used ,they are well built and have a long cord on them so you wont have to worry about streching the lead, just make sure you oil them before cutting your hair as this aids in a smooth motion of the blades.
